Try DynaMed until 14 July

The library has currently arranged trial access to DynaMed, so you can get full access until 14 July. This resource will be of particular interest to medical students and staff.

DynaMed is a point-of-care tool, intended to provide evidence-based answers to clinical questions quickly and easily (similar to UpToDate, BMJ Best Practice, eTG Complete and many others). More information about DynaMed is available on their website.

Access DynaMed here (or you can search the Bond website for 'trials' to find it).

The library is currently considering whether DynaMed might be a useful option for Bond. Your feedback is very welcome, just send me an email.

This video will tell you nothing at all about DynaMed, but it's highly amusing (it does go on a bit long though). There's obviously some creative types in the Uni of Calgary medicine program:

Videos for Sport and Exercise Science

Interested in the most extensive video collection ever assembled in the area of sport and exercise science? The library has arranged a trial of Sports Medicine and Exercise Science in Video.

You can access it right now here, until the 17 October.

Once you're in, you can click Subjects on the left to start exploring, or do a search for something that interests you.

Your feedback will help determine whether further access to this resource for Bond students and staff will be arranged, so if you love it, think you'll use it, think it will be good for your students - let us know! Likewise, if you don't like it, think it's not relevant or useful, please leave a comment and let us know. You can use our evaluation form, or just shoot me a quick email.

Oxford Medical Handbooks online

The Library has trial access to the popular Oxford Medical Handbooks through Oxford Medicine Online until 31 August 2011.

Make sure you try them out this month, and give us your feedback.

Go to the Trials section of the Library's Electronic Resources page, and find the Oxford Medical Handbooks in the bottom right hand corner, under the heading Browse by Series.

Please let us know what you think via this evaluation form, or via email to Susan Day.

We are particularly interested in finding out which of the handbooks you would most like to have access to - if you could choose ten of these, which ten would get your vote?
