I searched PubMed - can I import the results into EndNote?

Yes you can - simply send the results to a file in the MEDLINE format, then import the file into your EndNote library using the PubMed import filter, as illustrated below:

In PubMed, select the citations you want to keep, and click on Send to

• Select File for the destination
• Select MEDLINE for the format
• Click Create File (take note of where you save it)

• In your EndNote library, select File | Import | File from the menu bar, to open the Import File dialogue box. 
• At Import File click Choose and navigate to the text file you saved from PubMed.
• At Import Option select the PubMed (NLM) import filter.
• Click Import
